Auto-blur emails, card numbers and API keys before you share your screen

BlurPilot finds sensitive data on any web page and hides it before anyone else sees it. One shortcut before your call, demo or recording, and nothing ever leaves your browser.

See it work

One switch. Every tab. Nothing uploaded.

This is a fake CRM page. Switch Presenter Mode on and the emails, phone numbers, card numbers, IBAN and API key blur, while the account names and deal stages stay readable.

How it works

Ready before the call starts.

No hand-blurring element by element before every meeting. Detection and your saved rules do the work.

  1. Step 01

    Press Alt+Shift+H

Presenter Mode switches on for every open tab and every new one. The toolbar icon turns red so you always know it is on.

  2. Step 02

    Sensitive data blurs

Emails, phone numbers and card numbers are found and validated on the device, then blurred. Pro adds IBANs, API keys, IP addresses, money and your own words.

  3. Step 03

    Rules cover the rest

Click any element or draw a region once, and choose to remember it for the page, the section or the whole site.

  4. Step 04

    Switch off instantly

Press the shortcut again. Every blur disappears at once and the page keeps working the whole time.

What it hides

Validated before anything blurs.

Precision matters more than volume: a blurry dashboard is a useless demo. Every pattern with a checksum is verified first, and dates, times and version numbers are ignored.

  • Email addresses

In text, tables and input fields, including addresses being typed during the call.

    • Free
  • Phone numbers

International formats with country codes, 8 to 15 digits. Dates, times and versions are skipped.

    • Free
  • Card numbers

13 to 19 digits in real card groupings, confirmed by the Luhn checksum.

    • Free
  • IBANs

Country code and length checked, then the mod-97 checksum. Typos and lookalikes stay readable.

    • Pro
  • API keys and tokens

Known prefixes such as sk_live_, ghp_, AKIA and xoxb-, plus long random strings scored for entropy.

    • Pro
  • IP addresses

IPv4 and IPv6, with version strings inside code blocks left alone.

    • Pro
  • Money amounts

Currency symbol or code plus a number. Off by default, because dashboards are full of numbers.

    • Pro
  • Your own words

Client names, project codes and anything else confidential, matched on word boundaries.

    • Pro

Built for

People who show their browser to others.

Several times a week, to customers, candidates, students or viewers. One screenshot or one public video is a data leak.

Private by design

The privacy promise is the product.

BlurPilot reads a page only to blur it on your device. The one network call is a daily license check.

  1. 01

    Processed on your device

Every page is scanned and blurred inside your browser. No page content, URL, rule or custom word is ever transmitted, sold or used for anything else.

  2. 02

Asks for access when you need it

Site access is requested the first time you switch Presenter Mode on, never at install, and you can allow only the sites you pick.

  3. 03

    No account to start

Install and go. A 7-day Pro trial starts on its own, with no email and no card. The license server only ever stores an email, a plan and an expiry.

Free vs Pro

Free covers the essentials. Pro covers the rest.

The core protection works without paying. Pro adds every data type, your own words and power features from $2 a month.

Honest limits

What BlurPilot does not do.

Detection is assistive and can miss data. BlurPilot works on web pages in your browser. It does not cover native desktop apps, images, video, PDFs opened outside the page, or text drawn on a canvas such as charts and some spreadsheet cells.

For high-risk demos, switch on blur everything except and choose only what stays visible, or draw a region over anything drawn on a canvas.

Questions

Before you install.

Does BlurPilot see or store my data?

No. Detection runs inside your browser on your device. Settings, custom words and rules are stored in the browser only, and page content is never sent to us or anyone else.

Does it work with Zoom, Google Meet™ and Microsoft Teams?

Yes. BlurPilot blurs the web page itself, so whatever shares or records your screen sees the blurred version, in any meeting or recording tool.

Will it break the pages I use?

No. The blur is visual only, applied with CSS. You keep clicking, typing and working normally, and switching it off removes every blur instantly without reloading.

Why does it ask to read all sites?

To blur a page, the extension has to read it. It asks the first time you switch Presenter Mode on, not at install, and you can choose to allow only the sites you pick.

What happens when the trial ends?

Pro features switch off and the Free plan keeps working with no time limit. Your Pro settings are kept, so upgrading later restores them exactly.

Which browsers are supported?

Google Chrome™ and Microsoft Edge on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Both come from the same codebase and get the same features.
